FurnitureOkay uses quality couriers to ensure your product will arrive in perfect condition. We/our courier will contact you to arrange a nominated day of delivery, and delivery will be made to your front door (ground floor only) or loading dock (in the case of multi-story). Deliveries cannot be made to underground car parks as the trucks cannot negotiate these. FurnitureOkay's nominated courier will deliver goods during business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday). After hours, public holiday and weekend delivery may be available for an additional charge - please contact us to discuss additional shipping requirements.
The courier drivers are not our employees and are not required to carry your furniture to your desired location. Our standard delivery offer requires the customer to assist the driver with large items. If you are unable, or unwilling, to provide such assistance, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org prior to proceeding with your order. Assistance can be arranged for you at additional cost.
Where you have agreed a day of delivery with us and/or courier, and you are not available, or unwilling to accept the goods, you agree to accept any detention, demurrage, return shipping, restocking, and redelivery charges associated with such delays.
Should a customer choose to cancel an order, or refuse to accept delivery of an order, after that order has been dispatched, FurnitureOkay reserve the right to subtract from any refund the cost of shipping both ways as well as a 10% restocking fee.
FurnitureOkay tries to ensure that all goods are delivered in a prompt and timely manner. However, from time to time it is possible that shipping and other factors outside our control may result in delays. This is not uncommon during periods of heavy demand, such as Christmas, Australia Day and Easter. FurnitureOkay does not accept any liability for loss or damage suffered by anyone as a result of any such delays.
FurnitureOkay is not responsible for the delivery times of goods. Once goods have been dispatched, it is the customer's responsibility to liaise with FurnitureOkay’s nominated courier company in relation to date of delivery and to make themselves available to take delivery during business hours. However we will provide as much assistance as we can to ensure the goods to be delivered to your doorstep as soon as possible. Any information provided by FurnitureOkay to a customer in relation to delivery will be from a third party, and as such FurnitureOkay will not guarantee the accuracy of such information.
