You can purchase your items online and have them delivered directly to your door. Here you'll find everything you need to know about shipping, delivery and managing your order.

How much is shipping?

Shipping cost to your area is calculated and displayed on the cart page before check out. Combined shipping can be calculated by changing the quantity or adding multiple items to the same cart. If you don't see shipping to your area, please contact us.

Shipping and delivery estimates

Items are estimated to ship from our warehouse within the timeframe indicated on the product page. From there, the transit time estimates how long it takes for the item to be delivered to you after it ships. Transit time is displayed on the cart page before check out.

In the case where items in the same order have different timeframes, FurnitureOkay may choose to ship the items together when all items become available.

Please note that the delivery times are estimates only & vary according to your actual delivery suburb. Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond FurnitureOkay’s control once it leaves our facilities, FurnitureOkay cannot be held liable for late deliveries. We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.

We keep you informed
Once you’ve placed an order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email to confirm your order details. Once your item has prepared for shipment and ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information.

Note: Tracking information will be provided for shipments from some carriers but not for shipments where a furniture transport service is used. However, the carrier will typically contact you in order to arrange a delivery time that suits you best.

Delivery options

For bulky & heavy items, your order will be delivered to your front door (ground floor only) or loading dock (in the case of multi-story). Deliveries cannot be made to underground car parks as the trucks cannot negotiate these. You may be required to assist the delivery driver with unloading the items from the delivery vehicle. We recommend inviting someone over to help. If you are unable, or unwilling, to provide such assistance, please contact us prior to proceeding with your order. Assistance may be available for an additional fee.

Premium Delivery is available for selected products in certain postcodes for an additional fee, this service includes carrying (ground floor only), unpacking, assembly and packaging removal. Please ensure that the items will fit through doors/entrances. Contact the FurnitureOkay Customer Service for details.

For non-bulky items, deliveries may be left in a place deemed secure by the carrier if no one is available to accept the package. Signature on delivery is not required for service provided by these carriers. Otherwise, the carrier will leave a card advising you to schedule a new delivery or alternatively amend your delivery address.

Delivery to a PO Box or Parcel Locker is not permitted for security reasons.

What time will my order be delivered?

  • Bulky items.

    FurnitureOkay or its carriers will contact you to arrange a nominated day of delivery. Deliveries are generally made between 9 am and 5 pm during weekdays, but could sometimes be as early as 8 am or as late as 7 pm. After hours, public holiday and weekend delivery may be available for an additional charge - please contact us to discuss additional shipping requirements.

    FurnitureOkay and its carriers will use our reasonable endeavours to provide an approximate time of delivery. However, many factors can affect these timeframes and we cannot guarantee that they will always be met. We reserve the right to amend our stated timeframes without notice to you.

  • Non-bulky items.

    For orders shipped by Aramex or CouriersPlease to a residential or office address, deliveries are made between 9 am and 5 pm.

    For orders shipped by Australia Post to a residential or office address, deliveries are made between 7 am and 5 pm.

    For orders shipped by TNT to a residential or office address, deliveries are made between 8 am and 5 pm.

    You can check the estimated date of arrival with tracking information provided with your Shipment Notification email. FurnitureOkay and its carriers are unable to provide an exact time of delivery. Our carriers cannot make a call prior to delivery.

Do I have to be home for delivery?

For bulky & heavy items, unless Premium Delivery was selected, you may be required to assist the delivery driver with unloading the items from the delivery vehicle. We recommend inviting someone over to help. Please note, where you have agreed a day of delivery with us and/or the carrier, and you are not available, or unwilling to accept the goods, you agree to accept any detention, demurrage, return shipping, restocking, and redelivery charges associated with such delays.

For non-bulky items, deliveries may be left in a place deemed secure by the carrier if no one is available to accept the package. Signature on delivery is not required for service provided by these carriers. Otherwise, the carrier will leave a card advising you to schedule a new delivery or alternatively amend your delivery address.

I need to change my shipping address

If you have not yet received your shipment notification you may be able to amend your details, please contact the FurnitureOkay Customer Service.

If your order is already in transit, please call the FurnitureOkay Customer Service immediately.

What happens if my delivery goes missing or is damaged?

In case of any problems with your delivery, FurnitureOkay will be in direct contact with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly and with as little inconvenience to you as possible. We will make every effort to contact you and keep you informed of the progress of our investigation and where appropriate, deliver a replacement. If you have already received your order and find that it is damaged, please call the FurnitureOkay Customer Service within 2 business days from the delivery date.
